William and Kat had been referred to us by one of our favorite wedding planners Natalie Sofer Events.  Will & Kat shared with us how they first met at art school, and how they were both working as animators and game designers here in Los Angeles, California.  Of course being fellow creatives, we hit it off quite rapidly and had some great conversations about some of their projects. 

As we laughed and learned more about them they told us they had a fondness for the beach.  They were content to allow us to use our location scouting expertise!  So we decided to create a beachside adventure! 

We chose Leo Carrillo State Park, Malibu, California.  It has a nice blend of the California beach and mountain side terrain that would make even the snobbiest of nature lovers envious!  We had a blast together!  They loved all of the beautiful Mountain and Ocean views. 

We found them both to be completely at ease with us.  We even managed to squeeze in their love for Star Wars!  They took our direction well.  If they were nervous they did not show it.  They both acted like seasoned pros out there which was evident in their photos. 

If actions speak louder than words their sweet affection for each other expressed it all, you can see their deep connection.  We wish them nothing but the brightest of futures together!  We really enjoyed working with them and loved creating these beautiful engagement photo's together!
